The details

Launched in 2017 in cooperation with emmy, eddy is the first electric moped sharing service powered by the energy provider Stadtwerke Düsseldorf. In early 2021, Stadtwerke Düsseldorf took full ownership of eddy and Wunder assisted the team with the transition. With its fleet of more than 350 mopeds, the energy provider is now making Düsseldorf a little greener, both in terms of the urban landscape, and in mobility too.

From launching with 100 green e-mopeds and scaling up to 350 with the help of Wunder, eddy is seen as the “first mover” providing accessible zero-emission mobility to all Düsseldorfers.

Our goal is to develop new, innovative and sustainable mobility solutions for Düsseldorf and that's how our journey with eddy, our electric moped sharing service, began in the summer of 2017.
